During a recent visit to Haifa, I had the pleasure of enjoying a breakfast at Gal’s Bakery, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The setting was cozy and inviting, with charming wooden tables that added a rustic touch to the ambiance. The natural light filtering through the greenery outside enhanced the relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely morning meal.
We started with a flaky croissant that was perfectly golden and buttery, accompanied by a small dish of rich, flavorful jam. This classic pastry was a testament to the bakery’s skill in crafting traditional baked goods with a refined touch. This delightful croissant cost 19 NIS.
Moving on to the main courses, we indulged in full-sandwich (42 NIS) and half-sandwich (21 NIS) filled with cheese spread and savory smoked salmon, served with a wedge of lemon and a side of sprouts that added a refreshing crunch. The ciabatta was fresh and had a wonderful texture, very soft inside, making each bite a pleasure. Each half-sandwich cost 42 NIS.
For dessert, we treated ourselves to a stunning strawberry tartlet. The tartlet was beautifully arranged with fresh, juicy strawberries on top of a delicate, crumbly crust, and it tasted as good as it looked. The balance of sweetness and tartness was perfect, making it a memorable end to our meal. This delicious tartlet was priced at 35 NIS.
To complement our food, we enjoyed a cup of cappuccino and a cup of black coffee. The cappuccino was creamy with a rich aroma, served at the ideal temperature, costing 17 NIS. The black coffee was equally satisfying, providing a robust and invigorating flavor to start the day, priced at 13 NIS.
Overall, Gal’s Bakery in Haifa exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a charming setting made for an unforgettable breakfast experience. The total cost for our delightful breakfast was 162 NIS, which was well worth the quality and enjoyment we received. I highly recommend visiting this bakery if you’re in the area – it’s a gem that truly captures the essence of quality and warmth.
