Israeli high-tech companies are expanding their operations in the United States and Europe, according to a survey by Kroll Consulting. The survey found that 78% of the Israeli hi-tech companies surveyed opened new jobs in the US or Europe during February 2023, with 75% of those jobs being in the US, mainly for sales, marketing, and customer-facing positions. This comes as there has been a 32% drop in high-tech job openings in Israel compared to the start of 2022, and many American tech giants have had mass layoffs. The trend of Israeli companies establishing operations outside of Israel has been growing stronger in the last two years, but has accelerated in recent months.
