Finally a decent Italian restaurant in Haifa. Though I’m a bit hesitant if this dish belongs to the Italian cuisine, the chicken liver pate is marvelous, both in taste and appearance. My test for Italian restaurants is a simple pasta with tomato/basil sauce, it was no wow but OK. Pasta bolognese was good though it took a lot of time to get grated parmesan. Beef soup was hearty and homely. Desserts are unremarkable, with tiramisu being the worst and cannoli the best. Wine is grossly overpriced. What was really impressive, by Haifa standards, is the service. I doubt if there is any restaurant in Haifa with this ratio of waiters per diner. The service is friendly, eager to help, and fast to resolve any issues. Lunch at the bar is served with 15% discount.
