A-Sham, Arab food festival in Haifa

The festival’s images are rather pathetic, mostly because they are true reflection of festival. A sham it was, the great Arab cuisine was not there, just a few scattered outlets offering the daily Middle Eastern staple. The festival was just as fake as the Israeli MasterChef TV show, an empty narrative sans food, even less so a great food.
