Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the “Company”) announced today that a purported class action was filed against the Company, alleging that the Company misled its customers by failing to disclose certain information in relation to a certain service. The amount claimed from the Company, if the lawsuit is certified as a class action, was estimated by the plaintiff to be approximately NIS 179 million. At this preliminary stage, the Company is unable to assess the lawsuit’s chances of success.
