Netanyahu’s hesitation to order ground invasion of Gaza damaging Israel’s deterrence, what has left of it. Netanyahu’s lack of leadership is becoming more apparent with every passing day.
Where is his recognition of failure and public apology?
Where is his clear demand to release immediately and unconditionally all hostages?
Where is his strength to withstand the pressure of allies mirred in their own problems of dealing with Islamic radicals within their own populations?
Where is his determination to say No to any deliveries of aid to Gaza till all hostages are released?
Do we really expect that Netanyahu obsessed with his political survival will make difficult decisions when hesitation to do the obvious things is the only steady pattern of his “leadership”?
