What is wrong with #Newegg? I placed the first order, duly paid, received the product with zero problems. I make the second order by using the same payment method – verification failed, account closed, no explanation whatever. My friend places order, within 5 min – verification failed, account closed. What is this thing with account closings? @newegg Support is useless, parrots with the script books.
Newegg boycotts Israel & discriminates Israeli customers. Try to place an order to Israel – in 10 min you will get message “verification failed” and account suspended and it’s not about your credit card. Share your experience, join class action suit. Here is the answer of Newegg support:
“I do see here that your account was blocked as we were not able to verify your information.”
Another issue – Newegg illegally charges VAT (17%) on all shipments to Israel. In Israel the items with cost lower than $75 (not including shipment cost) are VAT-free. Does Newegg pocket the the VAT charge on items with cost lower than $75? Absolutely!
