The 25,000 tonne Greek-owned, Maltese-flagged oil tanker Minerva Emily, a part of a shadow fleet smuggling Russian oil, spotted at berth in Haifa Port. Interestingly enough, the official page of Haifa Port’s schedule does not show any record of Minerva Emily. Shakuf investigation reveals that Israel continues to import oil from Russia shipped through “ship-to-ship” switch or other disguise schemes to Ashkelon and Haifa ports.
“The Sunday Times cited one example of a Russian-flagged ship, the Vladimir Monomakh, entering the port of Kavkaz on March 1, before transferring its oil to the 25,000 tonne Greek-owned, Maltese-flagged Minerva Emily, thereby masking the oil’s origins”, Source: Insider
