XPENG (NYSE: XPEV and HKEX: 9868), a leading smart electric vehicle company, has achieved a significant milestone by shipping 750 vehicles to the Israeli market, marking the largest single export batch this year. This achievement was celebrated with a ceremony at Guangzhou Port, attended by local customs officials and port representatives.
Eric Xu, VP of International Markets at XPENG, expressed gratitude for the support of their partners and local customs officials, emphasizing the importance of this step in the company’s expansion strategy. He also highlighted the collaboration with their local partner, Freesbe, in preparing for the launch of their smart electric vehicles (EVs) in Israel.
XPENG is introducing two models, the XPENG P7 and XPENG G9, tailored to meet the preferences of Israeli drivers. Alongside Freesbe, XPENG plans to establish a comprehensive sales and service network across Israel in 2024, covering major cities like Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem.
While currently making strides in the European market, XPENG is actively exploring opportunities in the Middle East, recognizing its potential for electrification. Israel serves as the company’s initial foray into the region, with plans to gradually expand to more countries, with a commitment to delivering its advancing EV technology across the Middle East.
