The OurCrowd Global Investor Summit, the largest investment event in the Middle East, is set to take place in Jerusalem on February 15, 2023. Over 6,000 attendees from over 70 countries are expected, including delegations from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the US. This year’s Summit marks the 10th anniversary of OurCrowd and $2.1B in investment commitments. The event will address major issues such as climate change, food and water insecurity, health access, pollution, tangled supply chains, and online security.
Speakers at the Summit include Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Softbank Israel’s Yossi Cohen, US Ambassador Thomas Nides, Fauda star Lior Raz, Dr. Karin Noy of Pfizer, Dr. Lara Ramdin of Dole Foods, Anil Soni of the WHO Foundation, Melissa Drew of IBM, and Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford of Harvard Medical School. OurCrowd portfolio companies such as Freightos, Remilk, and H2Pro will also be present to discuss their startups and investment opportunities.
A pavilion sponsored by the Middle East and North Africa will highlight business opportunities following the Abraham Accords, and a special press conference will be held on Summit Day to discuss the cooperation between Israel and the MENA region. The Summit will feature sessions such as “Eat the Sharks,” “Demo Theater,” and “Top Ten Tech Trends.” FoodTech companies and mobility startups will also have samples and models on display.
