The Israeli fintech startup Wisor AI has raised $8 million in seed funding to digitize the global supply chain industry. The funding round was led by Team8, with participation from Ocean Azul and Hico Investment Group, among others. Wisor’s AI-powered technology aims to help freight forwarders plan, price, and book shipments in seconds instead of hours or days. The software automates pricing data aggregation and shipping route optimization, and is tailored specifically to the needs of freight forwarders. The platform integrates into existing systems and workflows, and has the potential to expand to additional value-added services in the future. The global freight forwarding market, which handles $23.3 trillion in goods, is ripe for disruption due to a lack of digital tools and technology. Wisor is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.
